My name is Jake and I enjoy designing things that make people’s lives easier.

I currently live in Gurnee, Illinois (that’s about 45 minutes north of Chicago) and I’m new to the UX design space. I have been studying design in passing for most of my life.

It started innocently enough in an A-Level course in website design and into coding. From my first “hello world” set squarely in the center of an otherwise blank screen, I knew that web design would be something I’d want to learn about. I kept design in mind through college, even minoring in informatics, but it wasn’t until much later that I learned about User Experience design.

Since learning about UX it has become the sole thing I want to pivot into. I love designing things that make peoples lives easier and am dedicated to designing for the next million users. I have completed the UX design certificate program offered by Google and am ready to put what I’ve learned into practice, one project at a time.
